The photo, with the bullet-riddled Forestry statue in the background, shows students walking by the east side of Rizal Hall after the War. Although there was a significant decrease in enrolment during the academic year due to the destruction of the main buildings on the campus, some units were able to open. Thus, classes were still held despite the limited classrooms available.
